Print Etsy Shipping Labels on a 4x6 Thermal Printer

Etsy gives you the shipping label as a PDF built for a full sheet, which is why it lands tiny in the corner of a 4x6 printer. PaperReady prints it edge-to-edge at true size, straight from the browser, on whatever printer your computer already lists.

Printing steps

  1. Buy the label on your Etsy order (Orders & Shipping), then download or print it as a PDF.
  2. Save the label as a PDF, PNG or JPEG. For a marketplace shipment, use the prepaid label supplied by the marketplace; PaperReady does not create postage.
  3. Open Print a label file and choose your file. For a PDF, select the page you need.
  4. If the label occupies part of a larger page, drag around the label to crop it. Rotate if needed, then select the output dimensions (for example 4 × 6 inches). Keep every barcode and its white margin inside the crop.
  5. Check the preview and choose Download PDF. Print on matching paper at 100% / Actual size. For direct printing, choose a printer connected through a supported Print Bridge. Test one label before a larger run.

Why does my Etsy label print tiny or in the corner of the page?
Etsy's PDF is laid out on a letter-size page, so a normal print scales the whole sheet to fit your media. PaperReady ignores the sheet and prints the label at true 4x6, edge-to-edge, filling the thermal roll.
I already paid Etsy for postage. Does PaperReady add a per-label charge?
No. Printing is unlimited on every plan, including the free one. Etsy handles the postage; PaperReady just moves the label onto your printer, with no per-print fee counting against you.
Will it work with my thermal printer?
If your operating system can see the printer, PaperReady can print to it. It auto-detects USB and network models and stays brand-agnostic: Zebra, Rollo, DYMO, Brother, MUNBYN, and the rest. Nothing Etsy-specific to configure.
