MUNBYN sells a solid, affordable 4×6 printer and ships almost no software, and what there is leans Windows-only. PaperReady is the missing piece, on every OS.

MUNBYN thermal printers are rebadged workhorses that install with a generic driver and little else; the bundled utilities are Windows-focused and Mac support is an afterthought, so Mac sellers are often stuck. And because you're left printing from a browser or PDF viewer, the 4×6 gets scaled onto letter paper, the usual shrunk-label problem.

PaperReady detects your MUNBYN and prints at its real 4×6 size, edge to edge, on Windows, macOS, and Linux equally. No MUNBYN utility, no scaling roulette. Load a shipping label from any marketplace or carrier and it comes out full size with a scannable barcode.

Set up your MUNBYN for label printing

  1. Connect your MUNBYN over USB or network and let your OS install the generic printer.
  2. Install the free PaperReady Print Bridge, including on macOS, where MUNBYN's own tools fall short.
  3. Open the app; your MUNBYN is detected as a 4×6 label printer.
  4. Load your label and print at true size, edge to edge.

Yes. This is the common reason people find us. MUNBYN's bundled software is Windows-first, so on macOS PaperReady is often the simplest way to print to a MUNBYN at all.
Why does my MUNBYN print a small label with big margins?
The browser or PDF viewer is scaling your 4×6 to fit letter paper. PaperReady sends the job at the printer's real size, so the label fills the 4×6 stock.
Do I need MUNBYN's own software?
No. Once your OS has installed the printer, PaperReady handles detection and printing. The MUNBYN utility is optional and, on Mac, often unavailable anyway.
