Which Phomemo app and driver do you need?

Read the exact model number first. Phomemo’s small business label makers and 4 × 6 shipping printers have different setup paths, and phone-app support does not by itself establish desktop printing support.

Set up your Phomemo for label printing

Identify the model and connection described in its manual. Use the manufacturer’s driver page for that exact printer and operating system.
Install the driver and add the device in your computer’s printer settings. On macOS, confirm the selected driver matches the model rather than accepting an unrelated generic driver.
Print a manufacturer test page. If the device does not appear, check the USB cable and port and try a direct connection instead of a hub.
Once the queue works, print a correctly sized label PDF at Actual size. Use PaperReady’s file tool if the source page needs cropping or rotation.

Fix the symptom you see

Tiny label in a corner	A Letter-size PDF is being fit onto a label	Crop the label region, then export to the intended label size.
Correct shape, wrong size	Viewer or driver scaling	Set both the PDF print dialog and driver to the same stock. Use Actual size and measure a calibration PDF.
Sideways or clipped	Orientation or crop mismatch	Rotate in the preview; make sure the complete label fits before exporting.
White lines or blank output	Printer, media or head issue	Try the manufacturer’s own test page. If that also fails, check media loading and cleaning instructions.

Does PaperReady replace the Phomemo driver?

No. The operating system needs a compatible print queue. PaperReady designs labels and prepares PDFs; its bridge uses an installed queue on supported platforms.

Can I use a Phomemo from my phone?

Follow the official mobile app instructions for your exact model. The PaperReady desktop Print Bridge cannot connect directly to a printer visible only inside a phone app.

Have these models been physically tested with PaperReady?

No. These setup recommendations are based on Phomemo’s documentation. Confirm a vendor test page and one sample label before committing to a workflow.
